I stayed at Serenehaven in August 2007 and am returning again this summer. My 7-month-old daughter and I felt very comfortable, relaxed and at home there. It's a nice, quiet place to stay and our room (Crystal Pines) was bright, cheery and immaculate. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a beautifully set table overlooking the green hills of Hillsboro. I love that everything at the inn is eco-conscious and organic--great for me, baby and the environment! I highly recommend Serenehaven if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the Hillsboro area.

Serenehaven is exactly that - a wonderful escape from the cares of the world; a place to relax and rejuvenate your spirit.
As a conservationist, I loved the setting - nestled between mountains and meadows I fell asleep to the calls of peepers and owls and during the day, enjoyed my walks in the adjacent woods.
As a former chef, I can easily say the food was outstanding - the highest quality organic ingredients, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully, my wife and I ate to our hearts content in the breakfast nook overlooking the bird feeders and mountains beyond. We were never rushed and our individual dietary needs were graciously catered to by Jazmine.
Our room was "Radiant Energy" and the attention to detail was amazing. Beautifully appointed and clean, with large, luscious towels in the bathroom - even the sheets, shower curtains and bath mat were made from organic cottons and none suffering from the smell of industrial perfumes or cleaning chemicals. I highly recommend a long sit in the rocking chair next to the window that overlooks the meadows and fields.
My wife Kathleen and I came to celebrate our second anniversary and we look forward to our next experience in Jazmine's special home away from home.

We wanted to thank you again for our stay. The room was great, the setting quite serene, and your homemade meals were fabulous.
We arrived a bit late on Friday evening and as we approached the Inn we came up over a knoll and a porcupine crossed our path, slowing us down. As we did this the moon appeared in the sky, very bright and large. As we marveled at the moonlit landscape, the sign for Serenehaven appeared on our left. This was a great start for our weekend.
The environment you and the Inn provided was perfect. I think between the wonderful breakfasts and midday snack and the natural beauty of the landscape, this weekend gave us the much needed break we desired. In fact, the weekend was so pleasant that it prompted me (though somewhat premeditated) to ask Michaela to marry me. And, I assume, it was the setting that prompted her to say yes…
We still think about the breakfasts and chocolate cupcakes.
